Barbecue Grill Mats For Cleanly Cooking

A grill is often a man’s favorite means of cooking food. Delicious, down-home cooking out in the backyard just can’t be beat. However, a lot of men aren’t exactly great at cleaning up after themselves. After the meal, you often venture outside to find barbecue sauce, charcoal pieces, and food fragments scattering the ground. This stuff can be a real pain to clean up, especially dried on barbecue sauce. Water, soap and scrubbers can work well during clean up, but wouldn’t it be better if you could prevent this in the first place?

There’s actually a product that is designed for just this purpose, the barbecue grill mat.
Men like their grill to be kept a certain way and you may think they would be averse to having a mat underneath. The good thing about the mats is that many come with logos on the front with sports teams, etc. It’s a lot easier to get them to use the mat frequently when they can show off their favorite college team. These mats are designed with durability in mind. The sleek black rubber perfectly complements the barbeque it accompanies. You may be wondering how effective these mats are against common food grime. The absorbent top layer is specifically designed to soak up oil, grease and food spills. How many protective mats have you seen that actually absorb the grime?

When thick stains come along, they are prevented from reaching the floor by a protective backing. Decking and concrete are safe once again thanks to this great cover. Most mats are made to accommodate all grill sizes. When it’s time to wash it, simply take a water hose and spray it down. If it hasn’t been cleaned in a while, it may require a bit of soap and a brush of some sort. Many individuals keep their barbecue stored in a separate location from where they cook. For convenience, the mat can stay in the cooking spot at all times. Roll your barbecue over the mat and you’re ready to go.

You may be tempted to use a standard mat you have at home. While these can work well, they are not designed for food-based debris and can be hard to clean. The sharp look of these mats combined with cool sports logos makes them perfect for the man in your house. You’ll be amazed how the food and oils absorb right into the material.

Solitaire Rings

Solitaire is a French word which translated into English means, solitary or lonely. Thus a solitaire card game is one that is played by oneself and a solitaire ring is one that has one single stone mounted on it. Solitaire rings are beautiful by virtue of their simplicity. They range from cheap to unfathomably expensive depending on the stone used, and its size. Of all the gem stones that can be set in a solitaire ring, diamonds are surely the most common. These rings are simple but elegant. Ladies wearing them are made instantly more graceful and an understated beauty is conveyed upon them. The sole purpose of the band in a solitaire ring is to enhance and display the stone at its full potential. Don’t be put off by a simple band. Rather, look at the ring as a whole; you will find that this simplicity is actually the key to the ring’s beauty. Onlooker’s will be far more interested in the stone than in the band! This interest is only heightened when the stone in question is a brilliant diamond. Despite their simplicity, there are a few different types of solitaire ring design. The stone can be set in a claw or a bezel. A claw setting is usually comprised of an even number of claws which hold the stone in place. 4, 6 or 8 claws are most common. A bezel type setting will hold the stone more securely by surrounding it but some people don’t like the way that this obscures the view of the stone. Arguable the most well know solitaire rings are those of the esteemed jewelers, Tiffany and Company. They formulated their own setting design in the late 19th century which has come to be known as a Tiffany setting. A tiffany setting is 6 claw platinum setting. It allows more light to refract through the diamond than a bezel setting and so helps the diamond to shine more brilliantly. Solitaire rings are a very common design for use as engagement rings and because of their timeless design and popularity, they are easy to find in any jewelry store.
