Advantages of Nylon Lanyards for Promotion
Lanyards can be effectively employed as a means of promotion. Lanyards are required for many purposes such as holding keys, ID cards, mobile phones and other such valuable things. However, this everyday item of utility can become an everyday advertisement for an organization. As these are readily customizable, the lanyard can sport the color that goes with the theme of the company or organization, and also the organization’s name and the logo can be imprinted on it. Thus anyone wearing it will effectively be promoting the organization and that too without emptying the organization’s treasury.
There are three types of lanyards that are made – polyester, tube and woven. The materials used define the type of lanyard it is. Each of the type has its own utility and thus some thought as to the purpose of the lanyard needs to be spared before making a purchase. For instance, a woven lanyard would not go with sunglasses and a tube one will not the the best match for an ID card. Each of the type can be obtained in the desired length and width. If a person is supposed to wear a lanyard for an extended period of time, the material of the lanyard should be such as not to cause discomfort.
If a lanyard’s sole purpose is promotion, other that its utility of course, a nylon lanyard is the best choice. Not only is the material soft and smooth, the imprint is visible most clearly on the nylon variety. The better the visibility the better are the chances of people taking a notice. Also, the nylon has a sheen that is not apparent in other materials, making nylon lanyard eye-catching which is again good for promotion. Also, the material allows for intricate designs so even the mascot can find a place on the lanyard.
