Choosing a Color Scheme
If you have a room that is predominately black white curtains can be just the thing to make a striking statement and break up the rest of the décor. Likewise, if you have a white room, a black curtain can make just as much of an impact. Professional interior designers have been using contrasting colors for years, and to greta effect, however the novice can have a lot of trouble getting the balance just right. Too much of one color can really throw a room out, and quite often just because two colors contrast, it doesn’t mean that they are suited to each other. If you’re having a little difficulty, looking in design magazines can be a great help in choosing colors. Another great place to look is in hotels and restaurants, that have usually had someone professional design their décor.
