Control what you eat and lose weight quickly

One of the main factors to help you lose weight in to watch what you eat. Food is the main source of calories and if you manage to control what you eat you will be able to lose weight quickly. The following quick weight loss tips give you some ideas on how to do exactly that.

Do you like to eat eggs? If so then separate the yellow from the white and eat only the white part of eggs. The yellow part (yolk) is high in cholesterol while the white is low in calories with no fat or cholesterol and full of protein!

Do not eat food while watching television. Your concentration is on tv and you end up eating junk food that is definetely unhealthy and full of calories. In addition you get bombed by the commercials of candys and snacks that does not help you concentrate on your weight loss efforts. If you are acustomed to eat something while watching tv then try air popped popcorn, low fat yogurt, frozen grapes, fresh fruits or some crunch vegetables like carrots.

The best way to identify which foods you should avoid is to read the food labels. The food labels give you information about the nutrinional values of food as well how many calories they contain. Take a look at the food labels and select only foods that are low in calorie and low in fat.

Try to reduce the number of calories you consume through food and drinks. To lose weight you have to consume less calories than the calories you burn. If you do not exercise, that will help you lose more calories, then your food intake should create the deficit required to lose weight. Try to create a deficit of 500 calories per day. If you do that for one week then you will lose 1 pound (3500 calories)! If you find this difficult then start exercising. By exercising you will lose some calories and so you will need to create less deficit from food. There are a lof of easy ways to measure how many calories you burn by exercise. Most treadmills or other exercise equipment have calories meters that tell you exactly how much calories you burn. Use that amount together with a careful diet to create your deficit.
