Installing garage storage cabinets can change how you and your family use one of the largest spaces in your home.  Most garages are full of clutter that can easily be remedied by the installation of an organization system.  Installation of both upper and lower cabinets is the best way to maximize the amount of storage you can install in a space.  If you have the height, you can even use a row or two of plastic storage bins above the upper cabinets to store lighter objects like crafting supplies and seasonal decorations.  In garages that lack height, you can use shelving can be installed in place of the upper cabinets.  A mixture of various types and sizes of cabinets is probably the most effective way to add storage and function to your garage.  Never fill the cabinets up to the maximum because you will need space for new items when needed.
