Mesothelioma is an asbestos injury
The only form of cancer that can be exclusively linked to asbestos exposure is mesothelioma. Further to that, it is a form of cancer that is extremely hard to diagnose and very difficult to treat.

Asbestos products have been widely used in construction, because for their excellent thermal resistance. We still find them in plaster, insulation, fireplaces and even drywall compounds. If a person was diagnosed with an asbestos induced disease, he may be entitled for monetary compensation.

Other asbestos injuries include certain forms of lung cancers and a health condition names asbestosis. Asbestosis is not cancerous, however, still very serious and just equally difficult to diagnose and to treat. The problem with all asbestos injuries and diseases is their long latency period and the fact that they are in almost all of the cases detected rather late. And by then the condition has already advanced to a more severe stage.
