Printing Pictures with the HP Portable Photo Printer
Are you ready to jump into the fascinating world of photography? If you are worried about the costs associated with having your films developed, or the steep learning curve of developing them yourself, then you can finally relax. Hewlett Packard has made it possible to not only take fantastic photos, but also develop them in the comfort of your own home. Before you purchase an HP portable photo printer though, you will need to have a few accessories included to keep everything running smoothly.
You must always purchase more ink cartridges when you are buying the printer itself. Having to hunt down new cartridges while you are in the mood to print photos can be frustrating, because 9 times out of 10, you are going to have to wait for the Internet supplier to ship them to you. This is the sole reason to buy more ink cartridges up front, rather than to you until you really need them.
Also, consider purchasing more paper while you are buying the printer. Regular printer paper does not cut it in terms of printing high quality photos. You should use only the recommended photo paper, and buy it in bulk to make sure that there is an adequate supply while you are printing. Because of the way photo paper stacks onto itself, you can easily be deceived into thinking you actually have more then you really do.
Make sure that you have an adequate supply of memory cards, as well. Owning one or two is sufficient in most cases, until you decide to get lazy and not go through them often enough. When this happens, cards begin to stack up, and you are sent into a panic trying to figure out which pictures can be deleted, and what cards contain what memories. You can avoid it by simply buying 4-5 memory cards, and staying on top of what pictures are stored on them.
As long as you have a cart full of accessories when purchasing the HP portable photo printer itself, you are going to be able to relax knowing that every time you want to take some photos and print them out, that all you have to do is point, shoot, insert the memory card, and hit print. Sharing pictures with family and friends has never been easier.
