Karaoke games expand on the idea of karaoke and give you a chance to do something as a group. 1. Celebrity karaoke. Ok, so you can sing in your own voice, but can you sound like your favourite celebrity? That’s what this game is all about as you take on the persona of the person who made your chosen song famous. The group can sit back and listen and judge to see who the best celebrity impersonator is.

2. The karaoke relay. One person starts off with the microphone and starts singing the song. Then at any given moment, that person will hand the microphone to another person who then has to sing. Rinse and repeat for the entire song and you’ll give everyone a chance to contribute.

3. What’s the next word? This is a great game that lets everyone enjoy their favourite songs without actually having to sing the whole thing. One person acts as the MC and they will so the majority of the singing so pick someone who likes to be the boss. At any given moment, the MC will stop singing, at which point everyone else has to fill in the blanks of the lyrics at the same time. For an extra challenge, hide the display on the karaoke machine so people have to remember the lyrics by heart. By the end of the song people will be cheering and clapping even if they don’t manage to get all the words.
