You’ve seen them – those cool girls, so bubbly and fun, squeezed into skinny jeans and too-small tees, each an original but with thing in common: eye-popping hair, big and bold and hot. You can be that girl.
It starts with the cut. Scene haircuts have choppy, even random, layers all around the head. But the bangs are left long. They can be cut straight across just above the eyes, but more often they’re at an angle and swept to one side, covering one eye. If needed, straighten hair with a flatiron, then tease the layers, spraying generously with hairspray. Smooth down the teased pieces being careful not to knock down the height. You can add clip on hair extensions here and there in bright colors. Finish with a darling bow, or punky clip, or headband. With scene hair anything goes.
