Tarpon fishing is very similar to bass fishing except that it is much more extreme and intense. If you have never been tarpon fishing before then you are definitly missing out.
If you have been bass fishing then chances are you will love tarpon fishing. Tarpon fishing is commonly done in Florida and a few other southern U.S states.
These fish can get to be fairly huge. They get so big that it will take you a really long time to reel them in. If you do intend on going fishing for tarpon, just be ready for a physically hard day of work.
This is probably one of the factors that make this fishing style one of the funnest there is out there.
